back in 1929, the WDCS Choir celebrates its 90th anniversary
in this year of 2019... quite an achievement! To celebrate this
event, the choir will be performing three concerts during the
On Saturday 13th April 2019, we will be performing Verdi
in conjunction with the City of Wolverhampton Choir at
St John's Church in the Square, Wolverhampton, commencing
Then on Saturday 13th July 2019, we will be holding a
Anniversary Celebration Gala Concert and Buffet Supper at the Wolverhampton
Grammar School on 13th July 2019, commencing at 7.00pm.
The Senior Choir from the School will also be taking part in

on Saturday 7th December 2019 at 7.30pm

mixed choir of some 90 singers, drawn from the local area and
has a varied repertoire, mainly full classical works, often performed
with professional soloists and an orchestra of professional musicians.
Patron of the choir is John Rutter, the renowned and popular
choral composer. Wombourne & District Choral Society is a
registered charity No: 1067808
members are always welcome...
New singers are always welcome to the choir. Rehearsals are held
on Monday evenings, 7.30 to 9.30pm during term time at Ounsdale
High School, Ounsdale Road, Wombourne, Wolverhampton, WV5 8BJ.
